Send us an email at info@bantrybayrovers.com Saturday the 6th of February U12 TEAM EXTEND LEAD WHILE U14 LOSE IN CUP The Rovers u12 team extended their lead at the top of the table to 6 points after beating Ardfield 5-1. The U14 team bowed out of this years cup after losing 3-1 to Bunratty. Sunday the 28th of February U12 and U16 REACH CUP SEMI FINALS Both the U12 and 16 teams reached the semi finals of their cup competitions. The u12 team Beat Bunratty 4-1 while the U16 team defeated Premier League leaders Lyre 2-1 to cause a bit of an upset.
Sunday the 21st of February O’LEARY THE HERO FOR JUNIORS Greame O’Leary scored 4 times today in Rovers 5-2 win over Kilmichael. O’Leary has been in good form for Rovers lately and has formed a good partnership with Rovers top scorer Shane Drummey who got the other goal. Elsewhere in the league Droumree drew 1-1 with Malaga and Castletown drew 2-2 with Riverside while Bantry gunners received a walk over from Lyre. Saturday the 20th of February U14 TEAM MARCH ON The u14 team remain unbeaten after a 3-1 win over Bunratty in Kealkill Thursday the 18th of February U12 TEAM GO 4 POINTS CLEAR AFTER WALK OVER The U12 team were awarded a walkover by Skibbereen to move 4 points clear of second placed Lyre in the U12 Supervalu premier League. Sunday the 14th of February JUNIORS BACK ON TRACK The Rovers Junior team are back on track after a 3-1 away win at Clonakilty town. There were only 2 other league games today where Bantry Gunners beat Kilmichael at the bottom of the table to see them climb towards safety while Lyre lost to Aultagh which puts them closer to relegation from the first division. Saturday the 13th of February U12 TEAM CONTINUE WINNING STREAK The u12 team beat Bunratty 5-0 in Kealkill and remain unbeaten in the league so far.
