AGM NEWS

At last nights AGM the club chairperson Danny Peters welcomed all who were present. He told of the success the club enjoyed last season and the plans for the upcoming season. He also announced that following a meeting with O’Neills Sports that all the new club kits will be made by them. The Junior team will be the first team to receive theirs following the sponsorship renewal by the Quay’s bar in Bantry. After the club treasurer Michael O’Driscoll had read his financial report it became clear that the club needs a fundraising committee. 5 people volunteered to take this on. The chairperson announced that all players would have to buy their own shorts and socks from this season on. These are available through the club. All players need to have their registration paid before the season starts. He also thanked Donal Casey for the recent improvements to the ground in Kealkill. With the clearing of the threes it is now much safer to enter/leave the grounds.
